The Farnsworth House became an example for us to learn about the various components of architecture. For example the site context, circulation and spatial planning.

 

We drew the floorplan and elevation of the house and by doing so, we learnt the importance of line weights. We also learnt the importance of scale when drawing the elevation and floorplans.

 

We also built the structural frame of the Farnsworth house, to understand how the load is being distributed through the beams and columns.
